stupidchicken comic

Finally set up ComicPress in a fit of productivity last night, and now I’m slowly going through the tedious manual import of the old comic “site” to this. Download image, rename, upload, repeat. 

It’s an interesting way to look back at the last three years, though.

I’ve been trying to do up the design for this page the whole day, and I’m still not very happy with the result. It just feels a little too… blocky at the moment.

Also, I need to get around to importing the rest of the comics. Quite appropriate that I’m up to Chicken vs. Redesign right now.

I wish I’d kept all the intermediate designs, if only to remind myself never again to jump straight into a web design without drafting a mockup first. After nearly three whole days of fiddling with the layout, I think I’m done! Now to copy the rest of the comics over and get distracted and play Fallout 3. Errr.
